Ellaboration of Agenda

1. Things to prepare
  • Report for Current Year
Each clubs need to write report about the events, financial, etc for this year. We need to prepare a proper format of financial report to SC, and event report which includes attendance, summary of the activities, etc. SC President 08/09 Ranulph will prepare a proper format as a guideline of the report.
  • Proposal for 2009
Each clubs need to sent a proposal about the planning next year, at least for 1 semester, which includes budget planning , future activities, etc. Again, Ranulph will prepare the format.

The deadline will be decided by Ranulph

2. Curtin Carnival 2008 + Curtin Open Day 2009

The top 3 clubs coupon seller are Catholic Student Society, Basketball & Swimming Club, and Varsity Christian Fellowship. The details about the selling can be obtained from Melissa. According to Melissa, SC had cover all the losses for the Curtin Carnival, even the clubs make losses from their selling. SC never forced clubs to open booth during Curtin Carnival. In fact, SC is helping clubs in term of financial.

Curtin Open Day 2009 will be held in April 2009, in conjunction of Phase 2 Opening. So, each clubs have chance to plan early for the list of materials sold. For further details, please refer to Ranulph.

3. Club Handbook

Club handbook was prepared by Former SC Ex-Officio cum President 06/07, Aylwin Lee. The reason is to standardise all clubs in term of format, responsibilities, etc, since SC received reports from clubs with different kind of format. The softcopy of the club handbook will be send to Chin Pin Rui or curtinrc@gmail.com.

4. AOB
  • Different subsidise for each clubs due to reason(s).
  • Average subsidy is RM 700 per sem or RM 1200 for 2 sem, but is subject to change, depends on situation.
  • There is no bring forward issue for subsidy, for example, 2006 MRC didn't use any subsidy by clubs, but doesn't mean MRC will get RM 2400 in 2007
