What I can say from my experience in the camp is, great job everyone! The camp wouldn't be fun without any cheerful and active participants and facilitators as well!
So for those who missed this camp, try to be attentive next time and sign up for the next camp as soon as the notices are out!

Hello hello dear members of VAD 57!
Soon, our VAD 57 will be joining theExploring Humanitarian Law (EHL) Camp organized by the The Malaysian Red Crescent (MRC) Sarawak Branch jointly with MRC Miri Chapter!
And here's the fun part: 30 members of our VAD 57 are given the opportunity to join this once in a lifetime experience!!

Why should we join this camp?
EHL camp is packed with activities that allows youths (which is us) tolearn the basic concepts of International Humanitarian Law(IHL) which is practiced by countries all over the world in order to keep our nation in peace and harmony.
This camp will let us express our creativity as well as increasing and polishing our experience and knowledge regarding the law that protects us as a human.
This camp will be a whole new enriching experience to disseminate IHL through exploration with the participants.
What will we do in this camp? There are lots of programs for the participants of this camp whereby some of it includes:
Brainstorming, Group discussion Expressing opinions based on stories and dilemmas, Role playing (acting on the related scene to learn about the situation better ), Video and photos presentation Writing, reflecting and interviewing
HURRY UP! There is limited space available as only 30 members are allowed to join the EHL Camp!
The application closing date will be 15th August 2011, so don't waste any time and start applying now at our VAD office or email us at curtinrc@gmail.com !!!
More trainings are coming up! This time, it will be the fun-tastic Ambulance Service Training! So get your spirits up and join us in this exciting training and at the same time, we could learn more on saving lives! Check out the details in the poster below:

Our last event which is the Welcoming Party has been a blast as we had a great time with all the activities prepared for the members of VAD 57. For those that could not make it to the event, fret not! There are many more events coming right up soon!
